Welcome to our eclectic all natural family farm.  We are raising Dorper / Kahtadin-cross meat sheep.  This cross of sheep shed their coats every spring, grow fast for their meat and are calm and pleasant additions to a country family setting.  

 

We are located just 5 miles west of Madison, Wisconsin. We purchased this acreage in 1996 and over the years we have raised llamas, angora goats, peafowl, geese, horses, chickens, guineas, bull frogs and aquatic plants; we currently have peafowl, sheep, bull frogs, and aquatic plants as well as several miniature horses for sheep guardians.

 

When you purchase animals from us, you are helping to sustain local, small-farm agriculture !

We do not use growth hormones, and our animals are raised all naturally and grass-fed on our chemical free pastures, supplemented by minerals, and hay (raised by us) in the winter.  The only time they receive grain (sweet feed fed to the horses) is when we are catching them for a hoof trimming.  They receive no antibiotics unless it is a life-or-death situation.  The market lambs are antibiotic and hormone-free. Our goal is to produce quality breeding stock and excellent quality meat animals for slaughter.
